So, What Automotive Based Tools/Parts Are YOU Asking For This Holiday Season

Just wondering if anyone has a list of things in mind they are asking their wife / gf/ significant other / kids/ parents/ etc. I would put this in the lounge, but figured this would probably be the best place for it as long as we kept it automotive based.

I am trying to convince my gf to get me the RB exhaust w/ BHR midpipe .... something is telling me if she did, she would expect me to spend the same amount on her

generic stuff like jack stands and/or ramps...still need those. a better jack would be great too! headlight restoration kit, etc.

rx-8 specific...new fog light bulbs is all i've asked for.

1/2 and 3/8 torque wrenches, also a good roll around tool chest now that I finally have a garage to work in.

Oh and an engine stand cuz an old tire works but is just kinda ghetto and doesnt let you rotate the block

This is your thread and you keep talking about parts, not tools. ???? Oh well, it is your thread.

I buy all my own stuff, parents never really did much gift giving after I reached teenage years.

I recently bought
1- Last year I bought a Racing jack http://www.harborfreight.com/automot...ver-47246.html

2- This month I bought a GPS Lap timer http://www.mh-motorsports.com/rc_pro_OBDII.htm

and

3- Dual function IR pyrometer with tire probe http://www.soloperformance.com/Joes-...it_p_2038.html

-Enter coupon code "nopistons" for $25 off. A great deal on a great track tool, coupon expires 12/31/10

Still on my wish list (AKA shopping list)

1 - Cordless electric impact wrench. http://www.soloperformance.com/Nieko...ch_p_2039.html

2- Those Tomioka Ramps are a good idea and wont break the bank. http://www.frsport.com/Tomioka-Racin...s_p_13365.html

I was using tripple stacked 2X6's at the track last week (also used to help with trailer ramps)

impact wrenches are the best! so glad I bought mine. Actually anything with a compressor is a big help.

Not my words.

You can go to the first post and edit (advanced) and change the title on the first post, but I dont think it will change the thread title.

as easy as it is to take off a wheel -it's tedious as ****!

I mess around with wheels way too much not to have one of my own

Oh I forgot about 2 more.

Electric winch for my trailer.

And the Grandy Daddy of Weekend Warrior tools; Portable scales to corner balance. I want to play with my ride height a little but I dont want to throw off the balance from the last time I had it corner balanced.

Ha, you would never get near my wheels with an impact wrench of any kind!
I just spent $1400.00 on tires and new sensors and the Speed Shop that put them on my wheels was more than happy to go old school and the dude even wrapped the socket(if you will) with tape as not to scratch the wheels or lug nuts when taking them off or during the torquing them back on to spec! (ha ha).
At home, I just do the same.
Hmmmmmmmm.............in terms of what I want, well.........the ramps sound pretty good! Have two floor jacks and stands, but ramps would be nice.
