just went for a ride in my first 3 ROTOR and man that was awesome! not even tuned yet and only running abuot 9 lbs of boost...all i can say is its a beast. my friend just got it up and running for the first time in a while and it still needs alot of work but its on its way! got a few pics of it after we took it out to lunch!

thats my fist fitting in the 5" inlet of the turbo. his next deal is cleaning up the engine bay and then paint.

I think it is a Garrett turbo of some sort.

 

haha ah yes as i actually look at the turbo it say garrett right on it.. DUH on my part.

Come to think of it .. it looks just like the siza/type turbo on the M113A3 i used to cruise in.

 

yeah it is a T88...he's gonna put a slightly smaller turbo on it and try it out but thats the main one he's running.

like i said guys he is still working on it. it had no front end and he had that one laying around the shop so be gentle. the paint and body shop is roght across the shop. that was the only front end he had a around that would not cover up alot of the intercooler.

but sad to say he brought it out last night to the rotary meet here and he thinks he may have warped an apex seal...so he gets to tear down the motor again and see what happened.

 

Is that Stephen's car? I just saw CYM 3rotor and it looked like Kahn's.......He is a godsend, he helped us so much on rx7.com and in atlanta and birmingham.
