Prettymuch how I thought it would go (assuming the S2K didn't have a passenger), but it would have been a lot closer if the G35 wasn't carrying an extra passenger.

Stuck in a love triangle
That was a pretty good video.
Ike I also wonder if the results would have been the same with the camera man sitting in the s2000 instead of the G35.
The G35 and s2000 are pretty damn close. But I thought the RX-8 was slightly faster than a G35? I wonder how an RX-8 would have faired in the same vid.

When you figure the S2k is putting out in the area of 25 or so more WHP than the RX-8 and weighs less, the S2K has a pretty good advantage given similar drivers.

I have never driven the earlier version, but I've been on the track with them, and my car is always faster on the straights than the earlier car (no driver skill involved), and they are equal on the turns (assuming equal driver skill), but there are times that I am put to the choice of shifting (with the accompanying loss of time) or sitting at redline (instead of accelerating), where the earlier version doesn't have that, at least at our local track (Pacific Raceways outside Seattle).
