Depends on how much you drank.

I heard rotary engines do not work in cold weather and do not perform good unless its hot out. Is this statement true?

It's actually the reverse. 8s work great in the cold and snow, it's even what the OEM tires were made for. Go look up winter driving on TireRack.com, and there is a picture of a Copper Red Shinka in the snow to prove if. The Canadians and Swedes favor the 8 over Subies for the snow and ice racing.

Hot weather is when it starts having trouble, anything over 180f is concerning. It start getting damaged past 230f. If it gets to 245f, the transaxle seal melts to the rear subframe instantly.

But you are correct. The milage does increase with age. You should be seeing an increase of about 1 to 2 mpg for every 2,500 miles you drive. If it gets much past 50mpg though, it's a sign that your engine's lifespan is almost up.

Mike I should of put a sarcastic smiley after my question lol. I know they perform a lot better in the cold vs heat. But thanks for the clarification for anyone who did not know.

I was trying to tell this punk at a party who was completely misinformed about it. But he still thought he was 100% right. Even told me a stock mitsu galaunt handled better than 8 and is even with the rx7.

I and walked away.

I saw an episode of Mythbusters, apparently drafting 10FT behind a full sized semi c/q trailer at 55MPH can increase your fuel economy by 40%.

Let's all do that!

I also have to get a respray every 6 months. I figure i save enough money in gas to afford to do so.

Clear bra does not help in this perdicament.
