RX8 to Magnum RT

Well I did it. Not sure for better or worse. After totalling my 8 (not my fault in the slightest), I went for a Magnum RT. I could not afford an '05 8 becuase Mazda did not try to get me too. The payments came out to 100 dollars more a month for a lease So I had to say goodbye.

I went to the Dodge dealership and checked out the RT, those things are pretty luxorious and fast !! After seeing it I had a lot to think about. After night I went out and bought it with my dad with payments at 40 dollars more than my '04 8 for a Dodge Magnum RT rwd, top of the line (except no sirius radio). I thought that was sweeeeeeet...Pictures to come!

Post the pics when you get them. I like the power and the looks of the magnum but have not riden in one. Enjoy your new ride.

Good substitute. I think you won't regret your choice. You might find the steering wheel placement to be a little odd, but other than that, you will enjoy it.

I want an rx-8, but can't help being a little intrigued by the magnum (cargo space...), and it comes in an AWD version as well.

Glad you're happy, waiting for a certain other member to say "I told you so" though...

I just go through driving one around today for a while. Say whatever you will about them but mashing the gas pedal is lots of fun!

You may not get as many 'wow, what kinda car is that looks', but it is intimidating as hell when that grill gets bigger fast in your rear view!!!

Found out yesterday as well that my dad cancelled his SRT-8 order He can afford just about any car he wants but he's still pretty frugal. He gets jealous of how white my car is and his looks a little "pukey" in comparison, and he didn't want to pay the gas guzzler tax.

Here's my old review if you're curious.

Mid to high 5s 0-60, high 13s to mid 14s 1/4 mile with 100ish traps for the RTs.
