Bummed, but bring on OU!
lol, the Japanese need to chill a bit with their concepts. This is the real world, not some anime cartoon. I think it's safe to say we'll never see that one on the streets.

i think its clear that the senku and kabura are pointing toward the next generation rotary vehicle. kabura had a rotary in it until just before its debut. both are obviuosly built on the 8s chassis or one derived from it. and both are usign innovative approaches to vehicle entry just as the RX-8 does. i really think the glass roof may make it to a production car based on some other cars i have seen launched into production recently from other automakers. top is senku bottom is kabura

I'm not liking what I see... but im not worried, its a concept car what you see isn't what you will be able to buy (speaking in terms of probability) expecting something similar is alright, but I never get my hopes up for or against stuff like this.

I like the quote that Mazda considers this a "four-seater rotary sports car for adults." For adults? I guess that's true if Pokemon is a "cartoon for adults."

I find the idea that Mazda creating new designs to be refreshing.
I would love to see new style and design in the future of Mazda, they have always seemed to me to be a bit ahead of the game in design. But that is just my tought on it.
Uniqueness and inovation are at the forfront of the auto industry.
Do you want Mazda to make cars that look like Chrysler or Mitsubishi or God forbid Ford!
Lets push the envelope of design and set some new standards to be FOLLOWED.
Carry on.

guess they will need to take out the word x out of the rx 9. because that doesnt look like a sport car. Incase if ppl dont know why mazda uses the word x in there sport cars, its because for some reason they think it means sport . And that is why nissan picked up the word zx in there fairlady cars, and the 180sx (240sx hatch back).
There is probably more history on it, but any how yah that car is ugly lol.
