Just wondering, no real reason why and do not know where to go to find out.

does anyone remember what colors the RX 7 came in when it was still on the market. the only two i have seen are white and red.

 

I've seen black too

 

silver, yellow, and this bluish color that actually looked more green as well.

 

the 3rd Gen was available in:
Chaste White, Vintage Red, Montego Blue Mica (mine), brilliant black, Competition Yellow Mica (1993 only), and Brilliant Silver. The White may have come on to replace the yellow in 1994--other colors were available later in Japan, a Strato blue mica looking color and a titanium Grey looking color. Red leather was available with the black, white, and silver ones--tan was available with the white, black, red, Montego Blue. The suede like seats were the base seats (greyish/black) and the only available with the yellow.

 

answers my question well! I just don't see many 7s around here I guess!

The suede seats where the seats sold with the R1 and R2 models, not sure if you could get them with the base model cars.

 

Silver, black, and Montego Blue were also in there 93-95. And first gens had a really nice lighter blue color. DOn't know about 2nd gens though.

 

Yeah the suede seats were on the non leather equipped cars--not just the R1/R2--but this was rare--as most non R1/R2 models had leather (the touring package or (PEP in 94)

 

I know most of the 3rd gens.
