Rotary piston engine: sub-Wankel size, 850 cubic inches!

So apparently this thing gives an equivalent displacement of 850 cubic inches (!) in a package that's about 75% the size/weight of a Mazda rotary. Obviously this would only be for big rigs; a scaled-down version for cars would be even smaller. And unlike so many other hypothetical engines, this one has actually been run on gasoline.

Not quite....
I think you will find it has NEVER run, not on gasoline or any other fuel, so the power output is, to say the least, "theoretical".
It was recently seen at an auto show, running on compressed air.
....so unless you are looking for a good "air decompressor"

That one video on the right of the video page was running on gas, I thought. Or it sounded like it. Well anyway, the concept seems fairly straightforward. On the quasiturbine and randcam engines you've got all sort of wacky sealing problems; on this one you've just got simple, proven piston rings.
