Both concepts look great, but i like the Subaru a bit more,looks so aggresive than its counter part.

I wonder if the Sti version will get a affordable and simple AWD configuration ? AWD not as complex as the GT-R and not as fragile as the old DSM AWD cars.

The AWD system in the WRX is a good one, and I wouldn't mind seeing this come to fruition.

 

i highly doubt either car will be available in AWD. I mean whas the point. the chassis has been set up and tested to be RWD. Why spend more on testing, R&D, parts unique to this car etc when the chassis is set up to be a light weight RWD setup. Im sure you can make a AWD system light but its def more complicated and upsets the balance of the car. Im 99% sure that if Subie greenlights the car itll be RWD. It may seem to go against the marketing agenda but itll def. appeal to the younger crowd since itll have the meaty boxer engine we all know and love and the aesthetics of a subie. Tough like a tank . I cannot wait to see these cars come to fruition as ill be replacing the 8 in a year or two and want another RWD car to tinker with. I was thinking about the 1 series bimmer but its not a simple rwd coupe like advertised. Its like your buying 80% of a 3 series. And seriously iDrive is teh suck
