Exxx-actly!!! And has anyone compared the interior of any Nissan to that of any Toyota?? Jus looking at that, you wouldn't think both cars even belonged to the same class, let alone were competitors. If classy is wut you're QQn for, that pretty much rules out all Nissans/Infinitis except the M35/45 and late gen I30-35s. Jus MHO neway.

Sorry guys, but if the poster needs a reliable, classy, car that gets decent gas mileage, is comfortable, relatively inexpensive & soulless, I think he'd have a hard time beating a Toyota.

Don't get me wrong, they're very well built & quality cars. But if you want somethin thats comfortable, classy, etc. & poses very minimal risk of reminding you of your 8, I don't see you beating any Toyo product. Period! Along w/ Lexus, they're quite possibly the world's most perfect appliance! I'd say he's right on w/ the Av. Go for it!!!

Besides, that's why you have the 8 right? To be your entertaining, fun to drive, & drive inspiring sports car, am I right? Unless you're gonna sell it for the Av? If so, we gotta find u a better compromise.

I'm with you on this one. The whole story just doesn't make any sense. We paid $27K for my wife's 6-speed RX-8 with the GT package. This is a mid-20s sporty car, not a $250 F430 spider. A new BASE Avalon MSRPs at $27K and full loaded will put you up near 40. A base CTS 3.6L starts at $33K! Why don't you think you'll be upset with scratches and dents on your Avalon or CTS, which are both more expensive than a typical RX-8?

We're obviously not getting the full story here. Sounds like you are just looking for an excuse to get rid of the 8. With the cars currently mentioned in this thread, you will almost certainly be better off financially keeping the 8.

Im not getting into the story because its too complicated and itd take me 1000 words to explain it where you would actually understand what i mean. Right now my rx8 is worth about 21grand kbb trade in value and im looking for a car that i can get used with 20-30k miles on it for 20-24 grand i need something bigger more reliable and something that i can be confident in not worrying about paying for new tires clutches brake pads etc as often. Please do not accuse me or tell me to just keep the 8 because thats not what im asking im asking for advice on what car would be a good choice and ive pretty much narrowed it down to the a pre owned chrysler 300 a 2003 cadillac cts and then i also am looking at the new avalons and the ms6 but both of those are going to be very hard to find a pre-owned that i can afford. All im asking for is a little help .
