murix sold his rx8 and picked up an elise..i sat in it for a few minutes and i pee'd in my pants just a lil bit..(one drop)

 

Its sort of sad, but growing up in Miami a Lotus like that just isnt impressive. I know Im spoiled tho, its not everywhere everyday youll see multiple M5 M6 R8 F430 GT3RS LP430 and every other crazy sports car that has a number for a name!
It takes a seriously modded car to turn heads in miami as a result.

 

I'll never understand people's fascination with this car...

 

The Elise is an extremely light weight, pure sports car. In fact, many of the available options are to further reduce its weight. So, given even its fairly modest powerplant it's very quick. Add to that it's about the only machine out there that exceeds the 8's handling without completely breaking the bank.

I was just thinking, should I turbo my 8 or sell it and get a nice used elise? I think I may choose the Elise!! that is one sexy car!! have to save my monies though first

Not just Orlando, almost any city in FL you'll see fancy cars. Dime a dozen. I see two of three elises each day when I go out for lunch leaving the area where my office is. One must has no cat, much louder than stock.

Sector 111 is just down the street from my house. we went to their get together.
I only got a few pics of the lot, and none of the cruise. But I will say it is tough to keep up with Elises and Ariel Atoms when you are driving a 130hp MR-s

When looking for a replacement for my rx8...I was seriously thinking about an elise. Then I figured...a vette is cheaper...both payment and insurance wise. Plus ive heard horror stories of elises getting into minor accidents and ending up getting totalled due to the frame being glued together.

 

but vettes are everywhere!! but if I do get one, it would be a total track for me and not a daily driver. I just love that car!!
