Production(??) 2009 camaro pics I just took

Saw one driving on the road when I was close to my office. Michigan plates.

The rear end looked like a kit car, came out looking cheap. I guess they'll have better fit and finish when it's pushed out in mass.

Far as I know, these don't come out for another year.

Nice rx8 wheels on the camaro. You can tell that thing is extremely heavy just by looking at it.

Maybe it's just the pic and the fact that it's white but it looks huge!

Yeah, looks a hell of a lot bigger than I thought it would be.

Still doesn't look much smaller in black. I think the rear fender vents look like ***.

The profile is not bad, but the rear is truly hideous.

Somewhere along the way it seems to have lost the Camaro look. It's rather bland and bulky. I'm not sure what they've done wrong but it looks cheap and the retro feel has been diminished. It reminds me of some of the modern Dodge offerings more than the late 60s Camaro.

Seal.

I agree that it looks kinda cheap in white, but I love it in black. If they just get rid of the fender vents it would be great.

I could be wrong, but as I look at my die cast model concept Camaro, vs the real car, it looks like Chevy made the rear overhang longer than the concept vehicle, also the real car doesn't sport the massive 22" wheels as the concept one, those wheels look no bigger than 18" possibly 19", but they look God awefully small on that car. Also the roofline on the real one has got raised a little higher than the chop roof style of the concept .

Now i am not so sure i want one now , they look real heavy and now the production Camaro looks ok. Maybe the SS will have the bigger wheel option, because the smaller wheels make the car look like a whale!

It looks like a 2-door coupe version of the new dodge charger. Are those kit cars or reall ones in those pics?

The rear needs round tail lights.

And get rid of that 80's pimped out rice chrome. Reminds me of the new Ford Fusion.

mysql, damn. Those are really cool pics. Wish I could have seen it in person.
I guess you couldn't see anything about the interior? Did you get to hear the exhaust?

Man that does look huge. It needs to go on a diet. What's up with US automakers making their "sports car" offerings look so massive?

Out of the recent retro pony/muscle cars revival (Mustang/Camaro/Challenger), I still think the Camaro looks the best.

Having seen all three (meaning the 2010 stang)...... the Mustang looks the best.

Next Mustang>Challenger>Camaro.
