Possibly getting a new car...already
I haven't even had my RX8 for a year yet, but I have been presented with an offer I can't refuse. I might be able to get a BMW 335i sedan lease for under $200/month! (employee lease) With that offer combined with the promotion I'm getting, I don't think I should pass this up. I love my RX8, but having a car that's fully under warranty and I'll be paying the same as I am for my 8...its to hard to resist. I still have to do more research into it, but things are looking good

Yea the only way I would own a bmw is if it was still under warranty also.
I have never heard good things about leasing a car, but it depends on the terms I guess.

I know you love your 8 but this is a no brainer. A 335i for $200 a month when it costs about $700/mo usually for a $50k car?
If anything sell your 8, get the 335i and stash the cash from the sale and the monthly savings each month. You may even have a good residual at the end of leas term to buy it outright.

Well it wasn't exactly like that. A salesman (i work in parts) told me that while the 2011 models last, the lease is super cheap. The 2011s want to be cleared out for the new 2012 design. Unfortunately the dealership actually bought the remaining 2011s. I could get one from another dealership, but it looked like they were all 328s. A 328 doesn't really interest me that much.

I'm not saying its a bad deal. But I pay just under $200/month for my 8. And I've only paid off like $1000 since I bought it. So to have to go through the process of parting out my car, trading it in, rolling over payments, blah blah blah...it just wasnt worth to me personally just for a 328i
