Post Popular Science Article

They cover topics that are continually discussed on this Forum (i.e. oil/octane level etc.). Thought people may find it interesting.

Thanks for the link, I love "Popular X" mag's

So far I'm doing the Chevron and Tire Rotation with oil change thing, glad to hear I was doing the right thing (or treating my car better). I also check the oil every fill up which comes about every 2 weeks.

I did let the tire check per month lag on me, but from now on I'm going to setup a monthly doctor visit for my 8 and my wife's 6.

i think the detergents burn completly. I have always used shell or chevron in my rx8 and miata. I notice the shell gives a little better response but also less MPG, the chevron gives a little less response but better MPG. So most of the tanks the rx8 has had, about 40 fillups so far in the last 6 months, have been chevron. Nearing 10k miles, I pulled the plugs and they look great.

Started using SHELL excellent fuel over EXXON .SHELL is much better hands down. I never tried CHERVRON but it seams to be good by what KYLiquid member said.
