Passenger Visor Broke

Passenger yisor fell and broke completely off. the wires ripped in half . Next morning very slow starting up and rear view mirror garage door opener was dead. I have disconnected the black and red wire from the clip and battery is getting charged now. Anything I should check before trying to start again???? Any help would be appreciated.

probably blew the Room fuse if those wires came in contact with each other.

also put fully charged battery back on and still won't start. Sounds like battery still low. Would this fuse cause it not to start?

The room fuse is I think a 15A fuse located in the interior fuse panel, which is located underneath and to the left of the hood release lever (left hand drive). It shouldn't cause the battery to not charge. That would likely be a bad battery or a dying alternator.
