other "Rotary" engines

Maybe somebody in here can help me out. I'm looking for a website I saw several years ago for a "rotary" engine development that is nothing like the Wankles in the RX8. Can anybody point me to current development of engines that are not piston and classic rotary design.

Thanks,
jtdwab

I've read about a few on Wikipedia, though none really seem practical for autos or close to development. Its pretty interesting though.

This one seems kinda close to the Wankel:

GM did some R&D on rotary engines in the 70's for use in a mid-engine Corvette.

Thanks for the responce and the RKM is bizare. There was something newer than these that had an extensive website but I can't remember what they called the motor. I will keep hunting. Any other hits would still be of help.

Best regards,

That was an interesting read, thanks. I knew that others had played with wankles but I didn't know they had a prototype corvette on the track.
