Which one? part II

I have to do this poll, just because it boggles my mind how many people don't seem to like the new CLS.

Choose one of the above based on LOOKS alone, pictures below.
Audi A8

BMW 7 SERIES

Lexus LS430

Jaguar XJ

Infiniti Q45

Mercedes S class

Mercedes CLS

The audi looks alright, but nothing special. The new BMW 7 looks sweet. Lexus 430 looks like it came out of the 80's - just imagine it slightly smaller and with a dull paint job. Never been a fan of jags, the styling is outdated to me. Q45 looks blah. Both mercs look good. The CLS looked crappy when I first saw it, but it's growing on me. I voted for the S class.

i like the jag...its got a classy timeless look...don't mess with it if it ain't broke. Everything underneath is second class compared to the other choices, but if looks kill the jag has it.

From the pics above the CLS looks hot. That AMG S comes a close second.

I had to put a better pic of the Jag up there, I had a 02 model, that blue one is the schiznit! My favourite look for sure, followed closely by the CLS

The others leave me cold as steel.

Jag, definitely. Don't like the new generation BMW's that much, and the others are bland

Jag XJ all the way, the lines are just pure classic. It may look like any other older XJ's, but the more you look at it the better it looks :D

saw a CLS 500 up close and personal today and got to poke in and around it a bit. For the record, it is the most hideous thing MBZ has ever produced. Looks like a squashed mix of the S and CL classes. Wow what an ugly car. Complete with dull, matte finished wood interior trim , seriously, I've always been a big MBZ fan but this car can't make the cut.

oh yeah....I'd pick the Audi....those things look tough...

this comparo is terrible...why don't you post pics of all the cars stock instead of half, stock, half souped up, and half old pictures. You suck.

Okay, the s55 is lowered and the CLS has different wheels. I don't know what pictures are old, they all represent the current model. if you know what they all look like in stock form as everyone does, than I fail to see your problem.

I am just saying that if you are going to compare them do it correctly. If you went to all the trouble to find a s55 you can find a regular 500 pic.

That CLS has more than nice wheels, it is lowered and has some huge bumper on the front. Oh ya and I think the Q45 has been replaced by the M35 and M45 which are great looking cars.

You said based on looks alone. Well i got some news for you, if I pumped 10K or 20K into a CLS then I could make it look really good also.

So to answer you question the CLS looks the best out of them all because #1 it is a good looking car and #2 the one you are showing is all souped up. I love you but I still think you suck...or maybe you just need some classes about gaining marketing research.

Wrong--the M35/M45 replace the old M45 not the Q45. Same engine--smaller car.

So, just for clarification, They have a G35, M35/45, and a Q45? Does anyone really buy the Q45?

Actually, not many people. Infiniti has a hard time selling any car above the G35. The luxury market is saturated and people prefer the bimmers, Audis, Lexuses, and MBs. I did have the privelage to drive the new Q45 1300 miles and it is pretty damn nice but you have a lot of options at $60k and I wouldn't go with the Q.

I was just looking at their website and I had no idea they still have an I series. I really like that new M, it looks great. It is no wonder they only sell G's...it is a great looking car. The I and the Q look like ***.

The I is on its last legs--it has been discontinued--so stocks will run out. I believe 05 is the last MY--it could be '04 though. The Q is a competent package but too pricey for the competition. The new M will sell really well though--its performance is exceptional.
