Watching the television coverage, it was interesting watching the cars exit the Parabolica. You could see the mirage (shimmering in the track) disappear.

Event though i was cheering for alonso when it came to alonso vs vet, vet pass on alonso was beautiful. I take it that vet has gotten good at having his wheel on the grass. Man remember how last year he tended to cause crashes every time he did that lol.

Great race overall. Thanks to Bse50 I got to watch it, thanks to my new room mate for turning off my alarm clock when I wasn't home yesterday I missed the start (I set it but did not realize it was not in alarm mode at all).

Alonso drove brilliantly as did Button. Vettel and his chassis are still in a different league. Lewis showed he is capable. I was impressed with Bruno Senna as well.

Paul.

Vettel passing Alonso on the outside of the parabolica was brilliant. Awesome!

FIA steward Daly thinks Schumacher deserved penalty
The FIA driver steward at the Italian Grand Prix, Derek Daly, has revealed that he thinks Michael Schumacher should have been penalised for the way he defended his position from Lewis Hamilton at Monza last weekend.

Schu fears the dreaded 'beer belly'
Michael Schumacher is human after all and, like many in their 40s, is doing all he can to hold off the signs of aging.

Earlier this year, Schumacher admitted he's attempting to keep the signs of middle age at bay by dying his hair.

But it seems grey hairs are not the German's only concern.

"I am always going on about how I would look with a beer belly," the 42-year-old told German fitness magazine Fit for Fun.

"Fortunately, I'm vain enough to put in even more work in the gym."

It looks like a nice fair battle...
Hamilton did a big mistake many many times, getting out too soon to overtake on the straights.

Another view of the battle between Schumi and Hammy. Lewis is pushing hard but cautiously not wanting to end the year with any more DNFs especially due to crashing. The car did seem to be lacking the top speed in the straights perhaps.

I don't know why but i'm not so thrilled today.
Vettel will probably win the championship killing all the fun.

Hamilton also used one set more of tyres than the max allowed...
Let's see how they explain it to the fia.
Oh no wait, they recycled option tyres with just 2 laps... stupid italian commentary

Domenicali vattene!
Why would you pit nando right now? 11 laps to go and 8secs from button with a 30 sec pit lane...
Even at -1.5sec per lap it makes absolutely no sense. They gave up a 3rd place to finish 4th.
