Saw a green 2003 Peugeot 206CC convertible on the road today, with a Michigan manufacturer plate bolted on in a makeshift manner... Anyone know if PSA Peugeot Citroen has any affiliations with any of the American automakers?

This week is gearing up for the Woodward Dream Cruise (an absolutely massive classic car (and unofficially modern dream car) free-for-all that completely clogs an 8-lane roadway for a Saturday) so it's not unusual to see rare or imported cars, but the manufacturer plate threw me. I've seen some Opels on the road due to the GM connection, but never anything from the french makers...

By the way, the guy in the Peugeot seemed just as surprised to see me in the RX as I was to see him...
