Nissan's "Liquid Aluminum" color

Looks like Nissan is catching on to the popularity of Mazda's Ti Grey.

Assume colour! I don't think that it looks like the Ti Grey at all.

Nice color, but I would imagine that would be a much harder color choice to maintain b/c of unintentianal scratches and anything it looks could possibly damage the luster.

That color is so awesome, I'm caneling my order and getting a Z. Yeah right. :D But really it is beautiful, I will be jealous of the color. Our 8 would have been great in that color.

The almost unpainted look of the car almost reminds me of the non-painted P-51 mustangs. I think it is a realy sweet color, but like others have said it would show any little imperfection or scratch.

I saw a 350Z in what is known in the UK as 'gunmetal' colour today and it looked really good. It was with a 'Le Mans Sunset' and a 'Dayton Blue' neither of which suited the shape but the grey looked spot on. I almost fell for the car again but not quite.

Last car I saw that color had "DMC" on it and a proud owner polishing it with something you and I would never use on our own cars.

Anyone guess what the car was?

(hint: that company is no longer in business)

No, it didn't have the flux option They have a nasty habit of warping the fabric of space-time if you ever hit 80mph.

Back in 1981, my boss bought his DeLorean. Everybody oh'ed and ah'ed over it, including me. I especially like the gull-wing doors. Thought the stainless steel finish was cool too.

Looking back at it now, styling (except for the doors), engine specs, options, etc., it's really not as impressive as some sport cars released today.

Or, to paraphrase: "The DeLorean had styling so impressive it took the industry 22 years to catch up."

That's exactly why they ooh'd and ahh'd.
