So... I was driving home last night and I spotted a truck carrying buncha Audi's and there was one that was all wrapped up so I'm guessing it was some kinda new model that they don't want us to see.

Oh, and here's my super horrible quality video I recorded of it. Any ideas of what it was?

 

It is the new Audi R8. It cost over $100,000 and the front looks very similiar to a MazdaSpeed front end. It is a hot car.

 

that was a bad video, was it wrapped like camoflauge or more like a sock? the rear did kind of look like an R8

 

It was all wrapped like a sock, nothing showing besides the wheels and the windows. I did say that it was a bad quality video.

 

It's the Audi TT. CHeck out the rear end...

Def think its the new TT-S...i'm not sure it looks big enough to be an R8

 

Looked a little tall in the body to be an R8. And not wide enough. Exhaust is different too.

 

i dont think its the R8, its too fat to be the R8.

its could be a TT or something.

 

It looks like the R8, dont think the TT has rear fins like the R8 Does.

 

The Audis I've seen being delivered at Jim Ellis Audi of Atlanta are all wrapped up like that. Nothing special, no disguise, just protection.

Recent Top Gear mag benched it against Godzilla ver.35 ... Not Surprisingly the GTR out classed it, even on interior reference of build quality.

The R8 is nice, but it doesn't even have a DSG. Looks like it's just targeted for the rich status comparatively.

 

That's an Audi TT. Too tall and narrow for an R8. Notice the shape of the tail light and the recessed section where the number plate goes. Not to mention the anntenae.
