2450lb turbo charged i4 @ 247hp, 500lb lighter than the rx8?

yea... it's not very pretty, but sounds like it'll be a lighter 350z (maybe their answer to honda s2000/mazda rx-8?)

 

it won't be an answer to the RX-8 and S2000. If the actual production numbers are close to 2400 pounds and horsepower remains at 247 from an already boosted motor... it will be the slaughter of the RX-8 and S2000 in terms of performance.

 

1250 kg (one and one quarter metric tons) is ~2750 lbs, not 2450 lbs. Sounds a little more realistic than sub-Miata weight, and still not half bad considering the projected power of the car.

if the styling is good....it will be a runaway hit just like the Z...

nissan already has a turbo-chraged I4, its in the X-trail GT only sold in japan, its more like 280ps.

But mazda also has a turbo-charged I4.....
