lol i would but there's way to tell the difference. rims. rear has only 1 exhaust. and front bumper is a littler different. and if that mazdaspeed 3 is yours its sexy. Id know its a speed3 because of the rims and intercooler. and spoiler ;]

Not trying to nitpick but the 210hp V6 stang at 3500lbs wont do 0-60 in 6 sec flat.

The 05 V6 ran 6.9 to 60:

And the 2010 V6 carries over the same engine with negligible weight gain (210hp 240lb/ft) and it runs 6.9 to 60, 15.3 1/4 mi.

Scroll down half way: http://www.americanmuscle.com/2010-f...ang-parts.html

Still a very nice car to have especially at 17 good luck with it!

15.3 1/4 mile is about what some stock 8s do in the 1/4

rodjonathan 07-19-2009 01:26 PM

yea the v6 isnt a whole lot faster if any when compared to the 8 (but you had the auto) and the mustang is a nice car and your lucky enough to own your second car plus to each his own so as long as your happy ...

Well, congrats on the new mustang! When I first started driving I bought a 1995 Mustang GT 5.0, and I must tell you... that was a lot of car at the time for someone just starting to drive (imagine now with the Mustang V8 putting out more HP stock). At the age of 17, I'm sure you'll enjoy the the V6 and should be more than enough for your daily driving.

You can't see the intercooler on the Speed, since it's a TMIC. :) Though, the black grating on the front bumper is a bit bigger on the Speed than the standard 3 hatch so you can still look at the bumper to identify them.

Enjoy the Mustang, I've been liking the look of the new ones - they're surprisingly easy to differentiate from the older models. I thought they were going to look a whole lot more similar to the old models but they have a much more aggressive edge to them, it's pretty nice. Also, sequential turn signals are awesome.

yeah i actually you tubed the lights and i think theyre really cool

lol thanks guys. Yea i admit im lucky to be owning my second car. and true about the specs. I just counted in my head. and used a phones stopwatch at night. So i guess 6.9 sounds right. But i also have a K&N drop in filter. plus some other little mods. And its stick shift. it said the automatic ran it in 6.9. 6.5 is possible with a stock MT. Its not that far off from a stock rx8.

I have a real important question though. The manual says 87 octane for gas. Ive been using 91. Pros? Cons? Performance better? and. Should i switch to fully synthetic oil? Pros and Cons of that too? Would appreciate the help alot. thanks =]

shazy 07-20-2009 04:28 AM

Doesn't really matter. Unless the manual RECOMMENDS 91 octane but it could still use 87 octane. 91 octane is just more resistant to detonation, but your car isn't tuned to a higher spec so it doesn't matter :) On new cars just switch to synthetic, they help in every single way possible.

Buy a new camera...a V8...or a camaro. But have fun with it, good for you.
