Thumbs up New Mercedez M Class safety

Did you know that the New Mercedez M class detects front end impact before it happens and rolls up its windows simultaneously so that the Impact of the crash spreads from the front of the Benz through out the body to the rear.....Momentum...or Kinetic energy...Thats funny how it all goes back to the basics.....air cabin allergenic filters...they just need something like ONSTAR that alerts Emergency personnel if u cant....

Mercedez is on ball with safety...

LMAO i thought the same thing....however....im sure if i slam on my brakes in a M CLASS... ur reaction is going to be to tuck in....just like when someone hides behind something and scares you...u tuck in and say "oh ****"

THey probably have sensors or something im sure DOT (department of transportation) wouldnt allow them to pass such a vehicle that traps ur arm....
its like passing a vehicle that traps ur foot to the gas pedal....

They already make those ^^^^lol^^^ RX-8's

For me, it's enough that ANY of it made sense.

We adapt to the level of these posts, hence one does not expect cogent, logical or coherent themes, or even the correct spelling of the subject matter.

i think they've had *pre-crash* programs like that for a while now. the doors also automatically unlock in a crash. in the higher end models it also does things like locking the seat belts and ready the seats and headrests for impact, and maybe even readies the brakes. and they do have an onstar-like system. there's an sos button and in case of crash it automatically notifies some operator

Lexus has been doing this for years. Beside for the amount of money you spend it had better protect you. My boss has several Mercedes' and they are nice but I don't think they justify the cost. They are not really that reliable but most buyers rarely keep after the warranty. Its funny because he bought a new GL550 but still used the new Honda Odyssey for a recent long range trip. But his C63 and CL65 are simply sick. I must admit though I would rather have an M3 over the C63 and a GTR over the CL65 and then I would take the extra 80k and buy a couple of dedicated track cars.
