New Mazda Models

Just posting some stuff I've found about Mazda's future

First - Mazdaspeed 6

-274 HP turbocharged 4 cyl
-200 watt bose stereo
-6 speed manual
-DSC and ABS
-AWD with upgraded suspension
-Priced about 30,000 USD

New Miata

possible hardtop convertible
based on RX-8 platform (yeah we all know that already)
uses mazda's 2.3L 4cyl

Yea, and with all this MazdaSpeed talk the lineup should be packed; Miatas, 6s, 3s, RX8s. I wonder how sales will do..

I read that Mazda has 16 new models planned globally between now and fiscal year 2006. Surely there's a MS RX8 and a new RX7 in there somewhere.

That Mazda5 looks kind of like the MPV. Is is supposed to replace it?

It's smaller than it looks in that picture. I think they plan on keeping the MPV, and the Mazda5 will be a new vehicle to the US market. Small minivans are pretty popular in europe I think, but this is the first of its kind we'll see here.
