New Mazda?
I saw a Mazda today that looked like an Infiniti FX series or a Nissan Murano. It had the black covering on the front and back trying to hide it. I work right next to Mazda in Irvine (not MNAO).
A guy I work with said he saw an RX-8 that looked raised (rally edition?). It had the black draping on it also. I wonder if this is the R and D facility...

The auto-show sample is 2 door. Has anyone heard if they'll be making a 4 door version?
Better yet, a config like the 8 with full front doors and 1/2 rear doors that open to the front.

oh, they are doing the 1/2 rear doors thing. :-)
From the mazdausa website.
Mazda’s design DNA can be seen in the strong RX-8 influence expressed in the MX-Crossport’s exterior, particularly in the front end, overall stance and hidden rear side doors. The interior design is meant to convey the same sense of motion as the exterior’s. Current Mazda interior elements are combined with an exploration of some experimental concepts in control and information systems design.
Sweet! My wife wants one already. :-)
