yup the concept is ******* sexy -- no one can say this car is NOT supposed to be sporty and badass looking.

The "flowing" "curvy" **** they did with the G37 sucks -- look at all the awesome car things need straight lines, it has to be angular, and sharp. This curvey mushy **** makes it look like any other sedan/coupe on the road thats boring.

Look at the lambo Mercielago (spelling?) its sharp is a freaking razor and everyone loves it. The only way I would buy a G37 the way they are making it now is if I cant afford the new 2008/2009 BMW M3, the Skyline GT-R (or whatever the hell they decide to call it), OR if I don't upgrade my RX8 with a Mazsport kit.

A big kudo's goes out to Mazda for having the ***** to take the RX-Evolv concept and actually improving on it:

It's sad that most auto makers make nice concepts and then come out with a half *** production models.

If you look very closely in the non-marketing photos (bottom half) of the http://www.leftlanenews.com/infiniti-g37-coupe.html
article, you can make out that the "nostril" grills appear to be fake. They are filled in with the crosshatch texture on cheap solid black plastic. If this is going to be the same in the final production version, I'm going to laugh hysterically. To put such a pronounced feature on the front of the car that is completely nonfunctional is just plain silly. Curiously, the touched up marketing photos do show a “real” grill.

Oh and don’t worry… when I run into a G37 at the track, I’ll make sure and crush his ego for you guys… stock vs stock, 330hp 270lb-ft on 3600lbs still isn’t going to cut it against a 6.0 GTO in the ¼ mile. When I had the RX8, I had plenty of G35 jackasses storm by me on the street, so it gives me some extra satisfaction destroying as many 350Z’s and G35’s as I can. I’ve got several slips to remember them by.
