Oh my!
De-rice it abit and that would look hot.

mjd 02-25-2006 01:49 PM

Easily the best looking Honda I've ever seen.

XDEEDUBBX 02-25-2006 02:22 PM

the newer honda's are looking more European with every model.

BlueEyes 02-25-2006 02:28 PM

They are. But, there is just too much shit all over this thing. They need to smooth out the front and rear bumpers and ditch some of the holes.

NgoRX8 02-25-2006 02:37 PM

civics are gettin' mean. haha

bascho 02-25-2006 02:39 PM

Why don't they use the CRX nameplate for this car?

It looks more CRX than Civic IMO.

snizzle 02-25-2006 03:55 PM

I'm surprised everyone thinks this looks good.

Well, I don't like the current look either though....

That's exactly what I was thinking, looks like an updated version of the CRX - especially from the straight-on rear view. Though, the CRX wasn't its own model, it was still a Civic so I suppose the CRX moniker isn't particularly necessary even if it is quite fitting.

I agree with BlueEyes, it needs a bit tidying up, but it has potential to look very cool.

lesper4 02-25-2006 04:24 PM

yes CRX would better fit the car, it looks so small and compact, i think the spoiler could be intregrated into the car body below the wind shield and it would look better.

chAi 02-25-2006 04:41 PM

i just think yellow looks really bad for this car... maybe white or a grey would look best =/

rodrigo67 02-25-2006 04:49 PM

I like it but I think they should put a big 4 foot spoiler on the back... :rollingla

I agree, white would look nice and make it a little less over the top.

rx8wannahave 02-25-2006 05:14 PM

Nice, and yes it should be called the CRX

The CRX has been dead for ages. Why would this Type R hatch be any different from other Civic hatches?

IZoomZoomI 02-25-2006 05:48 PM

looks kinda like a focus.

UFGator12 02-25-2006 07:25 PM

I loved it until I saw the back end picture. :banghead: Honda almost had it!

ECHO1 02-25-2006 07:28 PM

is the powertrain updated, or is this all show, no go?

BlueEyes 02-25-2006 07:33 PM

It's a type R. Rest assured it'll go.

zaglo6204 02-25-2006 07:39 PM

does anyone else despise the high waistline of the new civics?

BlueEyes 02-25-2006 07:40 PM

I guess this is based on the Euro Civic
http://paultan.org/archives/2005/07/...6-honda-civic/

Why can't they bring this here! I hate how america gets so few hatchbacks. You can see more if you go to a euro honda website like www.honda.co.uk

trickshot 02-25-2006 07:58 PM

A couple more huge TYPE R emblems, and it would be perfect.

belkjz 02-25-2006 08:06 PM

if it didnt have that spoiler where it is it would look like a vw bug

yiksing 02-25-2006 11:29 PM

The rear sucks, cars with large and tall rear looks really ugly much like the old mazda 323 astina hatch.

Whitehot 02-26-2006 07:28 AM

Its an evil looking egg. The front looks much better than the back. I wonder how much it would cost.
