Holy crap... Ya know, there was a thread about this vehicle a week or two back. I knew it was bad, but actually seeing it... Good God. Makes me glad we have crash test standards.

hopefully that's not a Chery SUV, which some are hoping to import to the US in the near future. http://www.aiada.org/article.asp?id=37021

pininfaria will be designing some of it's models, should be interesting....http://www.italiaspeed.com/2005/cars...ghai/2104.html

I like to call this the Darwin-mobile. It weeds out the not so smart people from the rest of the population. The airbag is merely there so that your face is still intact for the authorities to identify you to your family when you pass away.

that is one of the funniest crash tests I've ever seen. Good thing the airbag lines up your face so the steering wheel doesn't go through the roof and hurt someone.

LOL. at first i thought you meant chevy, but said it in an asian way (by replacing the v with the r). DAMN that car sucks, would have killed the driver. Wonder what would have happened if it was going like 10 mph faster. Would it have killed the rear passangers too?

Can't other manufactures come up with anything original (notice: 4 doors and 4 wheels)? It's a clear rip off of the rx-8. :madfawk:

I almost spit soda on the keyboard I just laughed so hard. My God is that thing a practical joke. Even those Yugoslavian communist cars from the early 80's made out of pressed carboard could sustain an impact better than that. I wouldn't buy that SUV for $5k....much less the $15k or $20k they'll probably end up asking for it.
