This looks AWESOME in person. Actually the new "shoe" (BMW Z4 coupe) looks really hot in person, but... the Porsche Cayman looks better still... just DAMN sexy! And the Shooting Brake.... it looks like it'll be a blast to drive.

Hhhhmmmm, it does look at lot better in person. However, I think they should have stayed with the original shape. The cockpit looks really nice, that steering wheel!

The Shooting Brake... trust me.. in person it doesn't look anything like an RX-8.
Z4 Coupe. The initial pics I saw here... not my cup of tea. In person... damn it looked hot. But so did the Porsche Cayman and guess which one I'd buy...
Speaking of VW. They had the new R32 in blue open to sitting, touching, etc. My friend (who isn't a sports car person) thought it looked a bit feminine. I suppose that it is a bit... curvey/round rather than sharp/aggressive. But I liked it. The seats... damn sporty. Look like a set of race Recaros... even has the hard back on it. Leather was nice. Seats.. maybe a little narrow for the larger of us, but will definitely hold you in well. The steering wheel was nice too. All in all... I'd like to test drive one. Purchase... well it IS a VW and it's going to sell for roughly the same price as an STi/Evo. Speaking of those two... I checked out the Evo Wagon (they only had auto at the show). Leather interior and all... pretty nice. I've never been a fan of the current dash, but it was nice. The Evo X looked HOT!! (pics later when I get home from work) The STi didn't look so cheap inside. Sure it isn't a BMW, but it isn't meant to be.
