need new cat

need to buy a new catalytic converter. my question is is there a certain one out there that is better than the next, or r they all basically the same?

I think the Cat's are under the federal emissions warranty of 80k miles. If you're over that, then really, cat's aren't all the same, but you won't see 10 HP from a SuperCat. A lot of it is about the sound you want to make. Just remember, it's against the law to remove the cat.

But like CyberPitz says.........your CAT is under warranty for 80k miles, so go get a new one if that's really all your issue is.

thanx for the info. i currently have 25k miles how do i go about redeeming the cat? isit a factory warranty oris it something else?

Go to the dealer and tell them your cat has issues. They have to replace it for free by law. The only reason they shouldn't replace it for free is if your cat doesn't have issues.
