1st off FD's dont need nitrous they are capable of running 10's on stock twins w/o it.

2nd re-evaluate what you eat for breakfast, I dont exactly think a full-bodied STi w/ 306whp should be talking smack about 700rwhp 2,300pound capable cars.

3rd the rx7 is a continually competetive in the jgtc/gt championship circuit the STi cant even place in with these cars..

4th he has I believe full bpu, I have exhuast and dp why is he talking ish?

5th in highschool he owned a 91 accord with blue lights surrounding the entire car it was automatic and flipped it, trying to autocross on public streets lol... fwd very hard to control (sike)

6th mommy paid for the car whoohooo!

7th i busted my *** for my car and eventually when im fully tuned with a gt47 force tucked under my hood i will be happy to know i paid every penny of what i drive

one thing im confused is about the jgtc and about the sti. did you mean sti isnt in jgtc or doesnt do well in GT300 class, which you will find fd is in.

I don't see why you can't take the time to give a real anser, if you have the time to post a sarcastic one.

 

The problem might be that

1) This is an RX-8 forum, not an RX-7 forum (rx7club.com for the RX-7 forum).
2) This is the Rx-8 discussion area, not the "General Automotive"
3) We don't really talk about "beating" other cars here. Partly because the 8 is a bit on the underpowered side, but mostly because it usually degenerates into a childish "I PWNED YOU IN AN ILLEGAL STREET RACE WHEN YOU WEREN'T EVEN TRYING!"

If you want to talk about the RX-7, you really should try the RX7Club or at LEAST the General Automotive forum...

Maybe the 8 is underpowered, but this forum made the decision to not allow street racing before we even knew the pricing of the RX-8. Boostd7 asked way back when and so many responded rejecting the idea that it stuck and has been so since.

As an rx8 owner, words like "speed" and "performance" and especially "1/4 mile" are actually curse words here. Very very taboo, you see. Even just saying "rx7" is like being reminded of your big brother...who can still beat your *** no matter how old you get.

People get really defensive when they drop cash on a car and realize it has weaknesses. Personally, I could give a ****. I love my 8 even though it's a red-headed stepchild in the sports car world.
