it hasnt been updated in a long time. they still say the r34 will be available sometime in 2004. i read there was a lawsuite because they were having some troubles getting them in and people were suing because they had to lay down money to get it imported and they couldnt get any cars in? could all be false

i doubt i would ever buy one because for 88k i could think of plenty of cars that i would prefer or a couple of cheaper cars like supras or something like that. just curious

It probly had to do with what ferrari was doing to get the laws changed about importing grey market cars because they where lossing sales to people buying oversea's and bring them in becsue they are cheaper out of the us. As a result I remember almost all cars in ports where being held and importing one was off limits. Not sure if things have changed or how they have turned out.

well if you're interested in picking up an R32, I believe it is now legal to import a 1989 without having legalize because its older than 15 years and thus considered a classic. I did alot of research on this subject when I was looking for a new car but opted for the 8.

I don't know about Motorex status? This what the NHTSA has to say about the matter of importing.

There's another company in torrance called auto conexion, they import cars as well. The owner took me for a test drive in a few of his cars, S15, a real Tommy Kaira S13, AE86, etc. if you've seen any genuine s13' s14's and s15's in the states, most likely it was imported from him.

Yeah, they're great people. I knew them when they were in Long Beach/Signal Hill area.

You can also try RB Motoring for Skyline Purposes. R32's and 33's are no problem for legalization, but the 34's are becoming a real pain. It can be done, but you need the money and the time. If you truely believe that an R34 is worth the headache and heartache, then go for it, but those companies are bonded and should help you get one here and have it street legal. (sorry for the run-on sentence).
