poor toyota

The final 8 hours of that race were as exciting as I've ever seen. Every P1 car had an incident at some point.

Porsche and Toyota definitely gave Audi a good fight this year. A bit upset that the Porsche 919's couldn't make it to the podium. What happened to the P1 #14 Porsche and #8 Toyota? I fell asleep when the #8 was pulled over to the side and the #14 limped back into the pits.

#7 Toyota led until just after the halfway point but fell out with mechanical problems. #8 Toyota was damaged by the Ferrari that took out Audi #3 an hour and a half into the race yet still finished in 3rd, although many laps down. #14 Porsche had mechanical issues and ended up in 11th place. Both Audis that finished 1-2 had to have their turbos replaced. This really was a war of reliability and of the speed of the mechanics.
