Mitsubishi unveils new WRC car

Looks pretty damn mean, I'm happy to see them back in the game but don't expect much from them next season. And you guys thought the EVOVIIIs wing was big :p

It's a freaking race car guys, they test these things in wind tunnels, the spoiler is there and is like that for a reason. I bet the interior isn't very nice either... They are not making them so they look nice! And yes it's a hot wheels sticker which is one of the sponsors of the car.

I like the front too but the wings could be done better, despite being tested in a wind tunnel. This year's WRC is very interesting. Sorry to hear that Richard Burns had a brain tumor. He's one of my favorite driver, partly because he can speak English
I'm also surprised to hear that Gilles Panizzi went to Mitsubishi. It's going to be an interesting match on WRC 2004.

I expect Loeb, Solberg, and Martin to battle it out for the drivers title in 2004. Manufacturers title in 2004 who knows, but I don't expect to see Mitsubishi or Subaru there with the recent news and a new car. I'm so bummed about Burnsie and hope he makes a full recovery. I'll be rooting for Solberg all season long but that Focus with Martin in it scares the crap out of me, damn that's a fast car if only they could get it to be reliable. Loeb is sure to be a star as well and will certainly be back in the hunt next year. So who do you think takes the second spot on the Subaru team, I'm guessing McCrae, maybe he'll be able to prove he still has it, or Harri Rovanperra trying to prove that he has isn't a never was...

yeah, Loeb's my man with an improved Citroen, and an aging Peugeot.
holy christ, that is one ugly-*** ****. Evo WRC, or something??? god, look and the freakin' wheel 'arches' (look like they were fashioned with a box cutter), not to mention those HIDEOUS projector headlight assemblies fashioned from bland carbon fibre (and people used to think that the Impreza was ugly).
as for the wing, coming from the WRC, that's not too bad. Scoobaru put a half dozen "mid plates" along the width of their wing (making it look like somethign you'd put on the end of an electric hair clipper), and Peugeot have long had that atrocious spoiler-wing combo thinger on the back of their 206.

I've been a fan of the Evo Lancer for a long time and I have never complained about the looks...but that wing... it looks so out of place. It appears as if the engineers were playing pin the tail on the donkey, the only difference was they were playing pin the spoiler on the Lancer.... and they missed! God it's hideous.
