Mazda added a "shopping assisstant" chat feature to its website a few days ago i read about it this morning here

i chatted with Daniel today and it was very easy and he answered my questions with much less hassle then calliing (or even being at) the dealership- found out phantom blue has been dropped for 2008

Hmm....I thought this already existed. I used this back in late January to chat with a rep to find out when a Stormy Blue Mica w/ Sand leather was being delivered to any of the 5 Mazda dealers in my area.
Great tool though, it really helped me in planning my RX8 purchase.

Did he ("Daniel") seem knowledgeable, or was he checking his computer screen a lot in answer to your questions? I'm wondering if he is in a Mazda office somewhere in North America, or does he work for a contracted call center in India?
Off topic:I hate how they outsource that stuff. An airline lost my luggage and I had to call them. I had packed lobsters in my bag (cooked and frozen). So I gave him my info and then I check it online. It said that my bag had "lobsturs" and it was described as a dress.
All of the shopping assistants are MNAO employees located in the US.
