it's offical now according to many sites that mazda will have a MS version of the 3 out in Spring 2006... supposely it's turbocharged from a detuned 2.3 from the MS6 and 4WD... better breaks/suspension/exterior looks...

I'd suspect it will be a 4 door like the previous msp cause it is the lightest of the 3's

 

it look slike they will stick with the 4 doors becaus eof chasis rigidity

Lets hope it's a little more tuner friendly than the MSP was/is. That was a very cool little car but Mazda needs to learn a thing or two about the tuner market and not make their cars a nightmare to get more power out of.

 

yep,,,,I do expect this 2.3l to be a lot more tuner friendly....I really like mazdas new 4cyls......lots more power down low

 

ain't the 2.3L the same as fords focus? or didn't mazda jack them up and use the same engine? welll the price is probally around 30grand i think.... not sure.... don't ask me... but i guess it would be in that range... and it would be nice IF they offer both sedan and 5 door.... and from the concept pics i saw... it's 5 doors too...

I thought they already confirmed it was going to be FWD. =/ Be a nice Srt-4 fighter though...mazda's quality with a killer drivetrain setup in a relatively lightweight car (hopefully not like the MPS 6)

 

if u do a search on google for mazdaspeed 3 things come up... such as info about it....

a turbocharged FWD.... humm.... i'm having 2nd thoughts about it now... unlesss it's 4WD i'd jump on it...

i think that would be how the MS3 will look like... notice the grill says mazdaspeed? and axela?? thats the jap name for M3s

 

I think it's just a bodykit <shrugs>
