EDIT. i have read the Auto Express article....IMHO the wheelbase is similar to my 2...nto shorter.

BTW mazda1 it's expected to be smaller than 2 and w/ only 3 doors

btw....i dont think that FAW-Mazda it's allowed to develop a global model (like Mazda 1) and stuff like a 1.3 DISI w/ I-stop....

those kind of things are made in Japan IMHO...

 

Interesting...

Rear doors show a 1/4 Glass and frame, the Export (Jap/Australian) 4 Door Mazda 2 has a one piece set up.

Also the rear hatch has an opening handle (Mazda 2 does not) and the rear window looks considerably shorter in height the 2.

Front Fog light inset and across inset "Curve" is also unique.
