Mazda Kabura

Can anyone show us the illustration from Automobile magazine? I'm going to seek out a copy today anyhow but it would be nice for the community if someone would scan it.

That car looks pretty interesting, but I never form any opinion until an actual model is made or if it's really going into production, I'll wait until the production model is made - good example for me was the Mitsu Eclipse, it was an awesome car as a concept but they really fooked it up in production.

I know that manufactures will build plausible concepts if they get enough positive feedback on them. Since I can't go to the NAIAS to tell them in person, does anyone know of a proper outlet for making a request to Mazda?

It would be a travesty if this was piston powered and not renesis powered. If I understood the article properly in Automobile magazine the MZR motor was used just to move the prototype around.

Instead of swinging on hinges as in the innovative Mazda RX-8, this additional door glides neatly into a cavity notched into the rear-quarter panel area the way a pocket door disappears into a house wall.

in this pic you can see it is solid behind the front door
but in this pic you can see the seam of the pocket door
another view
i see a bit of 350z in the roofline but the overall profile "silhouette" like in the 1st pic makes me think 928s(edit and 2 door rx-8 ala Styjan photochop actually )
