MAZDA Flashbacks..Back..Back..To.. the ....Future...

Just thought I would start another thread with MAZDA Flashbacks...
So IF you have some OLD Vintage Mazda IMAGES that you do not hold the copyrights to (none of these listed here ...ever..wink, wink)

How about SHARING them here, you never know MAZDA may just Contact You Directly asking for ""More Information Please"" and you may be asked to participate in Mazda News online mag...?

MAZDA IF you are LISTENING...HOW ABOUT YOU, YES YOU MAZDA Worldwide, How about you listed to your long term Customers, you know the ones you have had for Decades, the owners who just keep coming back, again and again.
How about You Ask your Mazda Owners to participate in Real Surveys that are ACTED ON, OWNERS Who you actually LISTEN To, a Survey you actually Read and act UPON?...Hey?, how about giving it a Try, because everything else you have done in the West is not working as you wanted it to.
Mazda is Hot and Cold.

You see as I see it, MAZDA are THE BEST Car Company with BRILLIANT Designers and Engineers with Real Engineering, BUT, you appear to not LISTEN to your committed Buyers.
You have a take it or leave it attitude....Try something that actually uses your best data base, your existing Mazda owners who want the best for the brand.

Anyway, I digress, this thread is about BACK to The FUTURE Mazda Models...Please post your successful models.
Here is my First Mazda Model I experienced, one my late father bought new, a 'Mazda 1500' 4 Door Saloon/Sedan, an actual Bertone/Fiat Designed car which was going to be made by Fiat until Fiat pulled out and sold all design and tools to Toyo Kogyo Co Ltd..
Car came with then futuristic and modern 'Double Overhead Cam' 4 cylinder engine with lightweight all Alloy Cylinder Head was the power plant with 4 speed (Tree) on the Column Gearbox.
All 4 wheel Drum Brakes, front upper and lower Wishbone Suspension and Rear Leaf Springs.

Mazda was one of the First to introduce such a Engine design as most Japanese Engines were OHV (Overhead Valve all heavy cast iron), this 1500cc OHC Engine was the start of Mazda's engine Design that lasted Decades as Displacement was increased for increased capacity/performance, she went to 1800cc and 2000cc, this engine design ended in about 1987.
Then there was the ''Sporty'' Mazda 1500SS which had a 4 on the Floor Changer (MT), a Twin Barrel DUAL (Two) Stromberg Carburettors, a slight change to Camshafts, two front Fog Lamps and SS External Decals, Front Disc Brakes, Oh and don't forget the front one piece bench Seat that gave way to two Front separate car Seats with the 4 on floor stick changer.

This model was basically the start and revival of Mazda in Australia, she was handsome, clean and SOLID with THICK Paintwork, unlike the rubbish Paintwork on today's Mazda's, my biggest dislike with Mazda's...anyway...post your Mazda Gems buys....can be family car shots, anything with a Mazda in it will do..
