I'm new to this forum but I've been a member of the RX7 Club forum for a while and some people on there suggested I post here requesting fellow Mazda lovers help.

I entered my husband's 94 RX7 into a Facebook competition to win him some wheels. To make a long story short, the company holding the contest put his RX7 up against a Lexus GS for a chance at winning an extra 500 votes in the main competition. The guy who owns the Lexus has been talking so much BS that it's disgusting + he is getting a ton of votes for his car by requesting on contest vote request forums where you vote for someone in exchange for them voting for you (which is cheating imo). So I am looking for some fellow Mazda lovers support so this guy doesn't win the extra votes.

One of his most recent comments is: ..."i do know that there is shops down here (So. FL) that solely work on rx-7's. if wankel engines were soo great.... they would be in a bunch of cars not just the rx-7. those shops are proof that a mazda is not nearly as reliable as any toyota or even nissan. out of japan, mazda is the biggest FAIL! compared to the other car makers."

Just tried but it didn't work for me. It's one vote per FB account.

 

The guy is buying votes - every time we have passed him, about 20 minutes later he goes up about 100 votes in ten minutes. Please. He is not even promoting the contest on his FB wall. I have this all over my wall, my husband's wall, my school's wall (UF - Go Gators!), on three Mazda forums...

hopefully he will get disqualified.
