Mazda Cosmo 110s Tour with JB...

http://www.automobilemag.com/feature...our/index.html

Interesting info on this Cosmo.

From the Engine Pics it looks like the ORIGINAL 10A, How can this be??..

Also note the Speed of the Cosmo...and an OIL Temp Gauge!

80 KMH (49 MPH) and Engine RPM 2700-2750...in 4th Gear. (I guess, it is a 4 speed box, original?)

When I first came to work here in 92 we (Jim Downing actually) had a Cosmo 110S with the original all aluminum 10A engine, still running like a top.

Seals can be fabricated so there is no reason it can't be the original engine rebuilt or maybe it just had really low miles. And the 4 speed was pretty normal. 78-80 SA Rx7 had standard 4 speed manual, 5 was optional till 81 FB Series 2. That's a sweet Cosmo drool...

If you read the article, I'm pretty sure he said the car had only like 8000 miles on it before they went on this trip.

what's the surprise? that's a '67, which would be the original L10A cosmo, packing the 10A motor. and they came with 4-speed transmission from the beginning

i wish i had gone on that roadtrip
