Mazda CEO says RX9 coming in 2026
Flip Flop EPA Regulations and EU Emission Regs, Tariffs, has left the Auto industry with one giant headache as commitments are 10 year out plans
not a change at the next election (2028), you can't production plan when a new Admin might reverse all of ***** welcomed EPA Rollbacks.
EVERY Car Manufacturer who had committed in production EV models and a switch to all electric (like Volvo by end of 2025) has abandoned
this 'DREAM', why because nobody is buying enough.
Getting their knickers in a knot, here I will mod just for you... WET.

Remember all these ''Mazda men'' saying here 13 years ago that an RX-9 was coming soon, it's on the drawing board..
I said it will never happen and still has not, won't sell.
Repeat again a Rotary Generator is not a Rotary, it's an electric generator, I still do not believe it will sell.
Why hybrids don't sell in the numbers that make it or them viable, why Ford, GM, Volvo, All of them say they are losing
$billions because of EPA.

You could very well be correct on this as well. With the amount of technology that will go into the car, it won't be cheap. The average RX-8 price was around $30,000 in 2004, give or take depending on trim level and options and accessories. That equates to $51,000 in today's economy and the RX-8 didn't have any crazy technology back then, save for the expensive Renesis engine and maybe the traction control system with electronic brake force distribution. The other features were pretty well developed and widely used on other makes and models and thus likely somewhat cheaper to develop and produce. With a new model and hybrid or EV technology floating around car manufacturers, some of that is bound to wind up in a new performance car from Mazda. They would be keeping up with many industry standards and that technology would be very expensive if they were to use it with a rotary engine. Long gone are the days of the thermal reactor exhaust system and throttle controlled oil metering pump. And man, those were some good days.
