Unhappy

With any new model intro, there's always a learning curve. It's great to be the first to have a car, but that also comes w/ finding out all the bugs in them as well.

proud mazda owner

My father owned a 1993 Mazda 626 4 cylinder car for 10 years. He didn't have to do any major repairs to the car. The only thing he replaced was the muffler. However he was strict about his oil changing procedures and did change it every 3000 miles. This year he gave it to some kind of a charity, and put the money for a down payment for a new Mazda Protege. He hopes his Mazda Protege will serve him good like the 626.

...not to hijack the thread or anything, but T-Man, do you know approximately how much power the factory Protege's were making in the SPEED World Challenge?? 'cuase, i was wondering how the new Mazda BP stood up to big names like the K20 (Civic, RSX) and ol' skool B16 (depending on the BP's displacement)... i sure hope for Honda's sake that the F20 is a lot stronger
