it needs a lip/chin splitter/thing - that would make it seem a little lower too (the same way the one on the new R3 finishes off the bottom of the '09 RX-8)

This is Mazda's way of promoting front license plates, which everybody seems to hate. Gotta cover that grille, yo!

The front grille on the new 3 looks hideous, just like the one they stuck on the new 8. They should have kept it more subtle like they did on the new 6, which is now the sharpest looking out of these three cars.
It is a matter of taste, I really like the front of my car, much classier, but I am an old Fart!..

I guess if it had a Taiki Front it would be OK.
Like many things, in reality or flesh I think it will look great, sometimes pics don't do justice to many things.
