Lincoln
Hey guys. So I'm trying to figure out what people really think of Ford's luxury line, Lincoln. I originally asked my friends in real life, but they're all ******* idiots haha.
So ya, what do you think of when you think of Lincoln? Be honest. Thanks.

A month or so ago, Lincoln actually had a test drive day in my office complex's parking lot.
I went over to have a look, and the cars were so boring and boxy looking, I never even sat in one. The people they had there trying to talk up the cars kept talking about how great they were in connecting to my smartphone, and getting great gas mileage.
I eventually told them that I don't own a smart phone, and their cars are so ugly, that I don't even want to sit in one, not to mention actually drive one.
I told them that if they ever get back into producing a car that is fun to drive, I will look at it, but until then, I have no desire to be near them anymore than I am right now.
BC.

Before adding ethenol to the fuel, I was averaging 32 to 35 mpg on the highway. To put that into perspective, I filled up an 18 gallon tank plus a little extra stuffing and drove from Vickburg Mississippi to my front door in Dallas and had a quarter tank of fuel left when I reached my home. The rear end was 3:.01 if I remember correctly? A dog to get off the line but a hell of a cruiser. It was very comfortable for long distance travel. Even after 200k I would drive that car anywhere. Finally sold it last year (too many cars). I do mis her a little, great car though.
I can not speak for the rest of the line up of Lincoln, but the Mark was awesome. Hmn it seems that cars that end in 8 are pretty cool

with 300hp and just under 300 lb torque (295?) my caddy is a destroyer of all that is small block, for a big old grandpa 4 door its is impressive, factory air ride keeps the turns and lets you know where the saying "rides like a cadillac" comes from, in a drag as much as i love it my little 8 wouldnt stand a chance, even with the impressive handeling of the caddy in turns its just to big to conted with the 8 but if your looking at luxury cars there is no substitude for the cadillac, my tested owned and driven opinion
agreed, the mk viii and if i remeber correctly the old mk vii were verry impressive for the size of the car, i would still pick my cadillac any day due to the ford idea of 1 screw here will hold it good enuf to the cadillac idea of, one is good, two is better, three is cadillac
I used to own a Markviii, and it was one of the nicest car I have ever owned. It did luxury and sport very well. There is no comparison to the 8 even a little. It is a heavy vehicle, but powered by a very steady and reliable 4.6 DOHC engine that was rated at 290 at the fly wheel. High 6's low 7's in 0-60. I had upgraded the brakes and wheels as I was not happy With wimpy stock brakes. I went from 11.5" disks to 13" and the difference was amazing. She did not respond very well in corners, but in a straight line she was hell on wheels.
