This is the weekend that made me get the NASCAR Channel...err... I mean the Speed Channel in the first place but instead I'll be out of town at a damn wedding tomorrow. Needless to say I'm pretty pissed about it.

They got the pole by .76 seconds.

They've had a GREAT car the past couple years, I wonder if they made any changes to relate to the R15 since it was built to compete with the R10 the past years.

pole:
1 pueg
2 audi
3 pueg
4 pueg
5 pueg
6 audi
7 audi

My god i cannot wait!

Puegeot has been protesting Audi's car all week saying that there are elements of it that are illegal according to the rules yet the governing body has never found anything out of spec. Some say it's biased support of Audi that allows them to get away with this and others say it's nothing more than Peugeot crying and being scared. Whatever it is, these are the cars that are racing each other and now they only need to get over it and concentrate on the race itself. It takes more than a fast car to win race. Peugeot has proven that they aren't slow. Now they just need to be reliable. Each team has a fantastic car.

DVR's broken grrrr.... if I'm going to watch 18 hours of coverage, i'd at least prefer no commercials....

Who determines the rules these days? Is it the FIA or the ACO?

YUP! DVR is ready to record! Seeing that Peugeot in person was exciting i never seen a car that could take Turn 1 at Sebring almost flat out!

That car is Godly! Those R15's aren't to shabby either!

Peugeot has the upper hand in the speed department the Audi has the upper hand in the handeling, De sarth is a top speed track, i smell trouble for the Audi boys! They better pray that the Peugeot has mechanical problems.LOL!

www.mulsannescorner.com is about the most informative sight that I look at. He's also there right now which helps as he updates it everyday. Here's some insight into the controversy regarding the Audi R15 as well as some obervations about the R15 in relation to the 908 on the track.

Is there a website that is giving live time charts? Lemans.org isn't providing one this year.

Thanks, I knew about Radio LeMans. I listen when Speed isn't broadcasting the race. I didn't know the ALMS site posted lap charts for this event.

2 years ago I watched it on the American LeMans site. I paid $3 and could live stream to my computer for the full race. That's not the coolest part though. The live streams were from the in car cameras and you could have up to 4 open at once! I had 4 open. Each of them has sound and you can choose to mute any of them. I need to see if that's still an option because that was really cool. If you've ever wondered what those cars sound like from inside, that was the way to hear it.

It looks like Speed Channel is going to live stream the 6-1/2 hours that they aren't going to air on TV. It's free. Check out their website for details.

11 hours to go, i'm walking to the deli for a egg sandwich and coffee at 8 am, that way I don't have to leave the tv till noon.

And yes speedtv.com will be streaming everything that isn't aired live.

Awesome!!!!!

Going to stay home all day and night to watch this. There are MZR powered Lolas in LMP2 as well. But the real battle is between peu and Audi, I hope Peugeot wins this time.
