A good friend has a Solstice, which is how I got on that forum. Except for the weight, I think it's a good car. The GXP, direct injection platform, I like but not for me. I'm too much of a rotor head, and I don't like convertibles. |
Oh and incase anyone is wondering the windshield in the MX-5 is designed as the primary roll bar, and can withstand close to 5000 pounds

I know from first hand experience that some of those gravel shoulders are extremely dangerous. just a couple rocks out in the road would be enough to send your tail end sliding even if you didn't take the turn too wide. Luckly i didn't end up like her. The best driver in the world only has to slip up once on a road like the dragon to end up up side down like she did. I've fished tailed on the dragon just by having my tire contact the road paint going through a turn. Granted they had re painted the lines that morning. |
