Even though i do not think this concept is jaw dropping or anything. but i have to give respect to kia and hyndai for really upping their game. if this car makes it to production, i can see alot of teens and young adults buying this car.

The rear 1/4 has a VW Corrado look to it, which isn't a bad thing. It does look like a blend of several cars that was mentioned. I like it, if I was a teenager again, I think I would consider this as a option along with the Civic SI and the TC.
I always see strong echoes of other company's designs in Hyundai and Kia designs. They remind me of video game cars, like they do in the Burnout series. Two cars are mixed for the front (Ion and Civic in this case) and two different cars are mixed for the back (Integra and IS350...sort of - the back here is a bad example).
Well, there's only so many ways to design a car that's marketable these days. If its not ripped off from one company, its a stylized version of another's! I think Hyundai and Kia are pretty smart in taking the good, well established traits and combining them. Korean music is a good example. They take all the beats from hit songs and re-mix them. Can't go wrong there! Originality is good too, but a bad example of being too original is the B9 Tribeca. Nasty.
it looks like a Civic SI Coupe Crossover Scion tC Double Crossover Nissan Sentra
it doesnt look that bad but on the other hand, nothing really special about it. WOW its just that its the first time that Hyundai actually made something that does not look like a piece of ****.

Stumbled across the real deal which is the sedan version but article said coupe (like the concept shown) will follow. Not bad looking but I see smaller Lexus IS w/ a Honda/Acura front end. I'm sure it will sell like hot cakes.
for their sake, i hope it is fwd and does not have good performance but great fuel economy and utility so thousands of people would buy it while a few dozen enthusiasts brand it as lame.
