but this one has being a dream for a long time, and since most of my other proyects are 90% done i figure, what the hell just imaging a 500rwhp 2750 lbs FD  this is an old pic but the car still looks like that, I will make some changes douht |
How much does it cost?? If you get a shop to do it, they charge 20 - 30 thousand !!!
Also how was your fd before the swap everybody I know gets an fd, they break down after a week and cost 6000 to fix and rebuild. |

I will be doing all the hand labor myself and a friend thats being doing rotary's since the 80's, most of the cost from shops is hand labor, 20b are not that expensive here. |

some pics of the engines, the one im going to use for the swap its at the shop geeting work on
thats insane T_T i've always dreamed of an FD but a 20b is insane. my cousin in chicago is building an FD 13B but that 20b is sick. since you're aiming for 500whp i'm guessing you're sticking with the turbo? will it remain twin or will you change to single?
the reality is that the stock twins are good for about 400 rwhp, thats my goal right now, but the real goal is 600 rwhp with a single turbo set up, but let me say this 400 rwhp on a 13b will make a picky engine and not very relyable, wile a 20b will do this with 10psi of boost and make torque from 1500 rpms
so it is really a better street machine with the 20b |
heyy rotary crazy, good luck on the project!!
Thanks, I got some updates of the engine getting prep, will post pics as soon as possible

hey man nice project, can't wait to see it finished
i know what you mean about the 13B being peaky at that power level, the 20B has a pretty similar power band to an SR at those levels, but with less boost |
thanks, is going to take some time for my next uptade, I just order the ecu since its a special version of it, it will take 6 weeks to get here :(
You are my hero. God bless you!
what ecu are you using
microtech LTX12
what benifit does it have over say the power fc which i know is very popular with FDs
the power fc uses the stock engine harnnes, I cant use it for the 20b
rotary crazy, Are you going to be using cermic seals or the standard Apex?
standar, im not opening the engine, I got it from a working car

Things are moving very slowly right now, this is the part that I hate about doing proyects, parts take a long time to get here I had to open the engine, one of the rotors was not showing good compresion and had some cooland in the housing  on another note Im going with a big single turbo, this way i will be able to make the power I want easier, and Im going to port the engine :) |
Good luck!
